Garbiel--I wrote about your work not just because I like it (which I do), but because this is an area where policymakers are actively debating what regulation, if any, to impose on social media platforms. It's important they have empirical data for their deliberations. This type of research is critical. It's far from just "academic." I hope you will develop some articles from the dissertation, not only in journals but maybe a few op-eds or features for the wider public. Then reporters covering the policy debates can check in with you for some spicy sound bites for their own reports.
You and me both (re: future articles & editorials)! And I entirely agree. It is a fast moving and evolving area. We are certainly at a critical standpoint. The goal is indeed to do just as you’ve said. Thank you, again, Ben.
