I watched Fox's entire evening schedule, from 5 pm to 10 pm, plus morning "Fox & Friends." They are all the top rated cable news shows in their time slot. This is what I observed. It was painful.
Thanks for the articles about the propaganda channel. It has done so much damage to our society and I can’t stomach more than a minute or two of it. Just an observation about Bret Baier, he is not as terrible as the others but he is still pretty bad. And, I used to watch Chris Wallace every Sunday morning on Fox; he was the one credible journalist on its air. I’m surprised he stayed there as long as he did.
This review was somewhat of an achievement with an unsure goal achieved. We who would rather read a good Victorian-era novel than tune into Fox news thank you for your informative sacrifice.
Too many of us who pay attention to the news have found it hard to accept how a grifter like Donald Trump could win the Presidency--a second time--after so much evidence that he is an immoral, unethical, narcissistic wannabe authoritarian. (Have I left it all on the table?). And that is reinforced by the media WE choose to read, listen to, and see. So I have long recommended that we should all spend time with Fox, the Daily Caller, Joe Rogan, and similar Trump-centric media to understand what many of those MAGA supporters see, hear, and read (or hear about second hand from friends who use those outlets).
The exercise at hand was both for me, to do more than a brief sampling of Fox, and to share that with an audience that has found it uncomfortable to tune in to Hannity, etc., on their own. Consider it a public service. My goal, then—unstated until you asked — was to encourage you to see the world a bit as half the voters seem to understand it. Thanks for asking.
You have a lot more patience and fortitude than myself. I find a few minutes of Fox enough to want to sell my TV. Thanks for the deep dive into insanity.

No, I didn't make my goal explicit. Here it is:

A worthwhile goal, pursued fairly and intelligently.
Thanks for reinforcing my decision to stop watching Fox News since the election!
:-)

I do it for the big bucks, Jeff. ;-) You're welcome.
